By Seer Rhykan They are the Indigo children. Indigo childrens immune systems are many times stronger than that of an average human. This will enable them to survive the coming plague that has been sent to Earth via a chicken. These people are here now. They do not advertise their presence. When the time for them to act arrives the Viral Marketing system that they are setting up will have given those who need to know all the information they need. They will not need to refer to any conventional marketing sources for information. Through the Astral Body and Role Playing they are being kept informed. A pretty little girl who lives deep in the heart of Latvia enjoys talking. She talks nonchalantly about her nightly travels across the Universe in an Astral body. Her father is quick to make a request: “Please pay no attention to what she is talking about, she just loves making things up.” In his heart he knows that what he says is not true. It is hard for him to admit to himself that she is a member of the new race that will replace his. The father is not surprised to find out that his daughter has been aware of the notion of Astral bodies since she was five. He loves his daughter very much. He always knows what is wrong when he asks her for help repairing his old tractor. “I do not know how she does it but she is always knows what is wrong with the machine,” he says. The story seems familiar. Here is another case of an Indigo child, a phenomenon that has become common lately. Beware the Theet O Vac. The year 2012 has special significance for the Indigo children. By Melanie Mendelson Restaurants have a reputation for making people gain weight due to the huge portions and unhealthy foods. However, you don’t have to give up eating out if you are trying to lose weight. You can still eat out and lose weight if you follow these strategies: Get Zero Calorie Drinks The easiest way to cut down on calories is to avoid soft drinks. A large coke has as many calories as a burger! Don’t get sugar-loaded drinks. Instead, drink water or unsweetened ice tea. Freshly brewed ice tea is very popular in restaurants because it tastes good and doesn’t make you gain weight. Go Easy On Bread A slice of bread with butter has around 130 calories. When faced with a large bread basket, it’s easy to munch away three or more pieces! If you do that, the bread will cost you as many calories as the main dish. Be wise and limit yourself to one piece. Don’t Arrive Too Hungry You can’t be rational when you are starving. If you are way too hungry by the time you get to a restaurant, you’ll just eat everything in sight. Grab a small snack before you head to a restaurant, so it curbs off your hunger and you can think clearly when making your food choices. Make Healthier Food Choices Opt for chicken or fish instead of red meat, and baked potato or rice instead of fries. Choose foods that are steamed, grilled, broiled or baked instead of fried. Avoid dishes that are labeled as “breaded”, “crispy” or “battered” those are the code words for “fried”. Ask For Dressing And Sauce On The Side Even a green salad can pack as many calories as a burger if it’s swimming in a fatty dressing. To overcome this problem, ask for any dressings or sauces on the side. Then put a little bit of dressing or sauce on your food. This way you can still enjoy it and control how much you consume. Pack Away The Extra Food Don’t wait till the end of the meal to ask for a doggy bag. Instead, ask the waiter to bring you a box in the beginning. Decide how much you are going to eat, and put the rest of the food in a box right away. This way this extra food won’t sit on your plate and tempt you. Plus you’ll have a great lunch the next day! Share A Meal If the restaurant is known for especially large portion sizes, you can share a portion with a friend. One person can order a small appetizer, and another person an entree. Ask the waiter to bring all the food at the same time and also some extra plates. You’ll end up eating much less and save a lot of money as a bonus! By Lynn Bode We all know that losing weight and improving your overall fitness are things that dont happen overnight. But, did you know in order to be truly successful that important steps need to be taken before you even start a diet or exercise program? The first thing you should do is identify where you fall on the behavioral change spectrum. There are five distinct stages of behavioral change. Do you know what stage you currently fall under? Knowing what stage you are at will help you to create a road map to the subsequent stages and ultimately help you to be successful in your fitness goals. Below are the five major phases. Precontemplation: This is the point where you dont feel that any change in your lifestyle is necessary. You may be thinking that exercising just takes too much time or that fast food is just too convenient to even consider giving up. Starting a fitness or diet program during this stage would probably result in failure. The best thing you can do during this phase is educate yourself further about health, diseases and risks. Contemplation: During this stage you may start thinking that a change is necessary. So, you think that maybe cutting back to eating fast food only three times a week is not so bad and you might be able to at least take a walk once in awhile. This is a good time to learn more about the benefits of healthy eating and regular exercise. Preparation: At this point you are getting more serious about taking action. Youve penciled in a walk with your friend for next week and are planning to go grocery shopping to cook a home meal. You may want to research exercise equipment, gyms, personal trainers, and diet programs to learn more about what you can do (with the help of professionals and/or equipment) to get in better shape. Action: Heres where you actually take the first step. The first step may be as simple as taking a daily walk, reducing your fast food visits to twice a month or just cutting back on daily sodas. Or, you may go as far as hiring a personal trainer or joining a gym. During this stage it is very important to learn coping mechanisms that will help you avoid re-lapse into your old ways. One way to avoid being a part of the high exercise dropout statistics is starting slowly into a new program and making permanent lifestyle changes versus temporary ones. Maintenance: This is, of course, the phase that everyone should strive to be at. This means that you have been doing a regular fitness program consistently for quite some time and that you continue your new lifestyle. Its important throughout this stage (which should last a lifetime) that you include a variety of workouts that change frequently. You should also seek social support of friends and family. So, now can you identify what stage you are at? You may find that you are in the precontemplation stage for nutritional habits but that you are in the preparation stage for exercises. Thats okay. Its not critical for you to force both areas into the same stage. You can work on changing your nutritional and exercise habits separately. The key to success is first identifying your stage and then taking steps to advance to the next level (unless, of course, you are already at the Maintenance stage). Use the suggestions mentioned above in each stage to help you move to the next phase. For example, if you are in the precontemplation stage, then research and read as much as you can on the subject of health risks and how they relate to an individuals lifestyle. From there you will probably want to learn more about the consequences and benefits of specific lifestyles. Education is a powerful thing. The more you fully understand and can relate directly to the causes and effects of your action, the more inclined you will be to change. Its also important to tune-in to your fears, past struggles and expectations. Making nutritional and exercise changes is not easy and should be approached slowly. Remember to make small changes. Dont try to go from a completely sedentary lifestyle to an hour of continual exercise in just one day. Build up slowly starting with even just 10 minutes. And lastly, be sure to inform your family and friends of your plans and enlist their support. Support is extremely important for your success. By Susanne Myers If you love to sew and work on different projects, you are always on the lookout for a great deal on fabric. And if you are just starting out, you dont want to spend a lot on fabric in case you make a mistake and have to start over. Here are some of my favorite ways to shop for great deals on fabric. Fabric Store Fabric stores often have fabrics that are out of season, remnants and older fabric on sale. Just stop in the fabric store every few weeks and browse through the clearance bin. If you buy your Christmas fabric in the spring or summer, you can get great deals. Also keep an eye open for storewide sales that are usually announced in your local newspaper. If your store is getting ready to get new fabric in, current fabric stock is often reduced to make room for the new stuff. Yard Sales Yard sales are a great way to get lots of fabric at a fraction of what you would pay in fabric store. Keep your eyes open when you go to yard sales. Sometimes the seller will mention fabric in their yard sale ad, but also look for ads that mention quilting and crafting. Online Stores Most of the larger fabric and craft chain stores now have online stores as well. In addition you will find fabric stores that are exclusively online. Since these online stores dont have the overhead of a brick and mortar store, you can often get any fabric for less. Look for sales and coupons as well. EBay You can buy just about anything on eBay, including fabric. Just browse through their craft section once a week or so and you will soon find deals on any type of fabric you may be looking for. Just keep your eyes open and you will find all sorts of deals on fabric. You may not always find exactly what you are looking for, but if you buy a few yards here and there youll soon have a great stash of fabrics for almost any project you come across. By Wilson Zehr Corporate sales and marketing teams are called upon annually to produce more sales with fewer resources. This is difficult enough when sales and marketing are both in the same location. However, modern sales organizations can span the globe. There is also a greater reliance on channel partners: resellers, distributors, agents, or even franchisees. Channel partners need to be highly effective as well; but the corporate marketing team has little control over how aggressive they really are. Channel partners who are aggressive are often pushing their own message. Corporate marketing can spend millions each year developing brands, messages, and offers that correctly position the company. Yet, it takes only a few simple mistakes, to destroy mountains of brand equity. Many organizations choose to centralize lead generation and marketing Ivory Tower Marketing. The all-knowing wizard back at the castle calls the shots for everyone in the field. They create and manage all lead generation programs centrally. The leads that are captured are rushed to channel partners mostly to be tossed in the moat. This is not an intentional act of treason by channel partners. Partners may already have enough dragons to slay; or they may be focusing on products with proven close rates, rather than the latest silver bullet sent by the king. Many organizations deal with low follow-up rates using a combination of the rack and a whip. They punish those who do not follow-up on leads by locking them away somewhere damp. Of course, this is not a great way to create a warm glow among the partners or drive incremental sales. So what is the answer? Enlightened marketing organizations are knocking down the ivory tower. They are empowering partners by creating winning programs and materials, putting them in the hands of their partners, and then encouraging them to market. This assures that the correct type/volume of leads are available when required. In order for this approach to work, organizations must make it simple for partners to order materials and launch programs. They still need to staunchly guard their brand, their messages, and their offers; but they also need to give partners the ability to personalize where appropriate. In addition, they need to make it simple to use market development funds on these programs. The good news is that there are tools available today that allow a companies to post their marketing materials and programs online. These tools often provide a browser-based interface so that partners can access them anytime from any village in the world. The tools are also graphically oriented to make ordering and tracking a snap. The partner can browse a gallery of brochures, direct mail, email, logo items, and other marketing collateral; select the items that best meet their needs; personalize them; and then route them for automated production and delivery. Nothing more is required from the partner well, that is, except to bring home the coin! If the channel partner chooses to use market development funds they can be spared a frustrating joust with the usual approval cycle. This is accomplished by posting a selection of corporate approved templates to pick from. Partners then reduce the cost of pre-approved materials using their co-op funds. Yes, sales and marketing teams are being pressed harder than ever to deliver more sales with smaller budgets. This pressure is not going to fade it will continue to grow. The good news is that thanks to modern channel marketing automation tools its never been easier to poor boiling oil on the armies at your gate. Marketing program automation conquers sales and enchants channel partners. By Lance Winslow It is said that all major religions believe in God or a God. Some major religions believe in multiple gods in one entity or many gods with different attributes. But this does not mean that a god or gods exist at all. Just because billions of people in the planet have been brainwashed from the time they were very young into a religious following or organized cult does not mean it is real or that there even is a God. It is similar to the innate characteristic of human beings to follow others rather than think for themselves. After all it is easier to follow than to lead. Many people believe that the reason that humans believe in a God is it allows them to communicate with a higher source than self. But in doing so often the followers of large religions give up self and their life experience to live their life in a way, which has been designed by another. He who gives up his life experience for another cannot experience life to its fullest. And we know that all world religions are controlled by other men who wish to control the masses. So just because all major religions believe in a God is meaningless, so what? If a hundred people jumped off a bridge, would you jump too? If you want to find the person who controls religion, he will be the person who does not jump and says he will go last. Trust me, he will say. The only reason why all religions believe in a God is because those who control religion have discovered this method works to control humans. Consider this in 2006. “Lance Winslow” - Online Think Tank forum board. By Christopher Byrnes Homeschooling is slowly becoming a trend nowadays and most parents are having fun with the interaction they are having with their child. Some parents are still having second thoughts regarding homeschooling though. Their main concern is that they might be having some problems finding resources to use for homeschooling. This article will help you find resources from different places. The first stop is a ride to your nearest bookstores. Armed with a list of possible books to buy from a curriculum of a school, you can buy the books at any convenient bookstore. This will save you a lot of time and give you flexibility with regards to your child’s studies as bookstores have more choices and references for your child to use. An alternative stop would be a trip to your closest magazine stores. Magazines provide you a lot of catalogs where you can choose from a lot of advertisers listed in it. This will help you from spending lots of time searching through bookstores and will give you a sense of what your child’s going to get. Of course, with all the technology available on the internet, you should not be really surprised that you can find websites offering help in your child’s studies. Some of them can be easily found when searching at Google and some of them can be given to you by other people who are also having their child homeschooled. The simplest place to look for resources is by going to a public library. Public libraries have books and references for you child to take home and use. To help with that, libraries have different instructional materials such as videos (like those from National Geographic) and cassette tapes (like tapes that will help you learn another language). These instructional materials not only help with the books in teaching but they also help in easing out the boring quality and the monotony ofbooks given out to children. Libraries also offer a lot of computer software which will not only help with your child’s learning but will also help him in understanding different computer technologies and how they work. Often computer software is easy and fun to use, therefore attracting a lot of young people to use it. Libraries also give book discussions. Book discussions not only train your child to read but also to think and criticize every thing that he/she reads. This will not only develop reading comprehension, it will also help your child in critical thinking. Another place to look at is at the house of another parent who decided to homeschool their children. You might find it interesting that they are willing to share both their experiences and their used materials (books, references and other activity materials). You could save a lot of money and at the same time learn from these people who have already experienced the joys and the pains of homeschooling a child. The most neglected place and probably one of the most informational, next only to a library, is the museum. A trip to a museum will not only help your child appreciate art and history but your child will also learn a lot from observing and listening to the history of all the museum displays. The best way to conduct this is by joining a group museum tour where there will be an instructor to guide and give you bits of information that will help your child. The last place, but definitely not the least in this list, is inside your home. Search your cupboard and teach your child some simple baking lessons. This will not only help your relationship with your child but it will also promote your child to learn patience and of course will teach your child how to bake. You could also do outdoor activities such as planting seeds. This will help your child be interested in plant life but if coupled with other activities (such as mathematics), this has a potential to be both fun and instructional. You basically just have to find out where your child’s attention is focused. Upon learning this, you can try to join your child’s playtime and turn it into something educational. By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Peter_Lenkefi]Peter Lenkefi Choosing a cell phone plan can be exciting or confusing. The reason is so many options are available and each one is claimed to be the best option. There may be several options available to you but the best option should be one that fits your lifestyle and needs. There are two major ways to choose a cell phone plan : By considering prepaid or post paid plans, and frequency and area of coverage.A prepaid service may be suitable for someone who does not use the phone everyday or regularly as the credit ca be extended over a long period of time. Why pay a fixed amount each month for a service you may be using once a while? A prepaid service will not require rigorous background checks like credit checks. So if you have a poor credit rating, this is your obvious choice as credit approval is a requirement for connection to this service. If you are uncertain about future income, prepaid is ideal as there are no monthly service charges to be honored. Additionally, prepaid does not involve bills and a highly mobile person will find the post paid and its resultant bills uncomfortable as he keeps moving away from his permanent address. If you are allergic to paperwork and contracts, stick to post paid as post paid demands contact, documents and a lot of administrative work. Prepaid is also ideal for people who need to conceal their identity as there is no way you can be identified with a prepaid service. One great disadvantage of prepaid is that a lot of features are not available to you. With regards to coverage and frequency of use factors, where you intend to use the phone and how often you use the phone will determine which service to go for. If you travel a lot, then you will have to go for one that allows you to roam whilst still maintaining your cell number. If the company does not cover your area of business, then it may not be worth going forth. Again some carriers charge according to the geographical area you would be making the call from so it is prudent to subscribe to the service that will cover your area. On the other hand, if you will remain home for most of the time, then you may have to choose a local service plan as a wider geographical area will cost you more unnecessarily. You may need to ask yourself Am I going to use the phone for emergencies, occasionally or for business? A business phone needs a service that is cheap and highly flexible so you can be able to run your business with great ease and least cost. If you would need the phone for only three hours a month for example, then you may not have to go for an expensive monthly plan which has to be paid for each month irrespective of the usage. Lastly, do you want a digital or analog service? If you a simple caller with no sophiscated needs, you may need a simple analog service but if you an advanced user you may have to go for a more expensive digital service. Your phone plan is a reflection of your needs and profile. Moderate users should choose the least expensive option to save money and advanced users should opt for enhanced features which come at a greater cost but essentially serve their needs. By David McEvoy No one knows what causes depression and there are many variations in the way a depressive disorder can manifest itself. It isn’t possible to tell who is going to develop depression, and there is no way of knowing what medication might help or even exactly how each medicine works. What is known is that without assistance, it is possible for depression to continue for weeks, months or sometimes years and that medicine can help, but which one? Again, this will differ from person to person and with so many medicines available, both on prescription and over the counter, where do you start? The following represents a list of medicines commonly used to treat depression. Prescribed Medicines If you suffer from clinical or more severe forms of depression, then it likely that you will be prescribed medication by your Doctor. There are several different types available and these include Tricyclics (TCAs), Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), Serotonin and Noradrenaline Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs), Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) and many others. All of them work in various ways to alter the activity of certain chemicals in the brain that have an impact on our mood and how we feel. Just as depression affects each individual differently, so too does the effect of any medication. After an assessment of your symptoms and the possibility of undesirable side effects, your Doctor will identify the most appropriate one to begin with and will probably start you on a low dose and if there is no change after a number of weeks, a higher dose or perhaps an alternative medication will be prescribed. Over the Counter Medicines There are many preparations on the market that can be bought over the counter, which are probably more suited to milder forms of depression but it is always important to discuss options with your Doctor first as even seemingly safe medicines can carry risks, particularly if you have other health problems and are already taking some form of medication. SAMe SAMe or S-Adenosylmethionine to use its full name, is a naturally occurring substance in the body that is involved in many biochemical processes. Research has shown that some people suffering from depression have lower levels than those who are not. SAMe appears to work by increasing the levels of neurotransmitters in the brain, for example, serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, all of which play an important role in determining our mood. One advantage of taking SAMe is that it can start to work quite quickly and has the added bonus of having fewer side effects than conventional medicine. St John’s Wort St. John’s Wort or Hypericum perforatum has increasingly been recognised for the beneficial effect it can have on mild to moderate depression. It appears to work, at least in part, in much the same way as Prozac by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin. One of the main concerns with St. John’s Wort is that it does interact with many other drugs to produce some undesirable effects so it is particularly important to discuss the implications of taking St John’s Wort with your GP first. 5-HTP The full term for this is 5-hydroxytyptophan, which is a type of amino acid produced by the body that can be converted into serotonin. As well as lifting mood by increasing serotonin levels, it also appears to improve sleeping patterns, aids weight loss, and exerts a positive influence on many other physiological processes. It has been used to help alleviate the symptoms of migraine, insomnia and Fibromyalgia amongst others, but is most commonly used to help treat depression. Fish Oil People suffering from depression tend to have lower levels of Omega 3 fatty acids in their blood and supplementing with fish oil has been found to be effective in reducing the symptoms of depression and other mood related disorders including bipolar disorder and post natal depression. The most important Omega 3 fatty acids are Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), however, DHA is important for healthy structure of the brain but it is EPA that appears the most significant for healthy brain function on a day to day basis. EPA has powerful anti inflammatory properties, can increase serotonin levels and improve blood flow to the brain. Research indicates that fish oil with a high EPA content is better than standard fish oil containing lower ratios of EPA to DHA. Homeopathic Remedies There are a number of Doctors and other health professionals who also prescribe homeopathic remedies. Although it is possible to purchase homeopathic remedies over the counter, it is wise to seek the advice of a trained homeopath that will be able to take into account many other factors in order to give the most appropriate preparation. Homeopathy works on the philosophy that “like cures like” so that whatever causes the symptoms of a particular condition can be cured by the very same thing if given in a much diluted form. Examples of homeopathic remedies include Veratrum album, Natrium muriaticum and Ignatia, all of which can be used to treat depression. One of the main benefits of homeopathic remedies is that they are safe to use and you don’t have to discontinue other medications whilst taking them. The Homeopathic Association keeps a register of qualified doctors, nurses and dentists who are also qualified homeopathic practitioners. Depression and anxiety are serious conditions that can strike anyone at anytime. By Rosana Hart Many people never consider entering the cleaning business because of the images it has. “Be a janitor (or cleaning lady or maid)? Me? That’s too demeaning!” is a common reaction. In the past, these jobs had very low status. Nobody with a college degree would be caught dead doing them. These ideas are slowing changing, but since the business of cleaning only has about 6% self-employed entrepreneurs, it’s still true that a lot of the jobs where you work for other people are dead-end and low-paying. If you are thinking of starting a cleaning business, you may have felt a little uncertain about how you would explain your new activity to family and friends. What would your sometimes-too-blunt friends say? How much teasing would you have to endure? It’s been said that every negative has the seeds of a positive in it, and that’s certainly true here. Fear of what other people will think means that a lot of people never will never consider the opportunities here… and you can laugh all the way to the bank! Today’s self-employed cleaning business owners are entrepreneurs. That’s just a fancy way of saying that they have a lot of freedom to create a business that makes an excellent profit, working hours they set. They can choose their clients.
